Kingsbury Episcopi - Blossom
Snow Queen

Snow queen
With lime green
And a snowy pink
Sprinkled over her
Dark brown sticks
Like a dress
A trunk entwined with moss
-- Daisy Baggs --

Bees, trees, pollen and honey
-- Keziah Fuller --

Bees

The Royal Jelly
Feeds one belly
They live in a hive
when they are alive
They make honey
Which is very yummy
They go in a swarm
That keeps them warm
They're yellow and black
With little legs with sacks
They protect the queen
And keep her nice and clean.
-- Honor Elliott, Grace Green and Charlotte Gilliam --

Group Poems
Blossom poem

Bees, nectar, clover
Honey and larvae
Pollen on their legs
Queen bees, female bees.

A new tree has emerged
On a foggy night
Pixies live in a hole in the tree.
Roses are red
And violets are blue.
-- George Loxston --

Sheep grazing in a field

Sheep grazing in a field
Lambs feeding off their mother
Marker dye all over the sheep
In neat numbers
Sheep peeping through the trees of blossom at you
Lambs playing with each other
Nearly every sheep is sitting down
On the nearly dry grass
Sheep everywhere around you
Like noisy clouds
The orchard trees are being flooded with sheep
As the sheep run past
Their thick wool catches on the rough bark of the trees
The nettles of the field
Are defenceless to the sheep
-- Callum Corbett --

Blossom

Blossom is growing as the lambs are born
All the lambs see all the new surroundings
And they take their first stumbling steps.

All the blossom is beautiful. All pinky white
And the leaves are growing green
Soon it will be over. But I will have that memory.
-- Briannie Faull --
